Our first full day in Liguria, our main entertainment was eating! We enjoyed a wonderful, almost 3-hour-long, leisurely lunch at Trattoria Armanda, in the little village of Castelnuovo Magro -- the tasting menu of typical local specialties. We were so hungry that I neglected to photograph the antipasto of lardo di Colonnata on chestnut bread, fritelle di baccalĂ , spinach and onion tortas, and crepe with mushrooms.
