| Our first full day in Liguria, our main entertainment was eating! We enjoyed
a wonderful, almost 3-hour-long, leisurely lunch at
Trattoria Armanda, in the little village of Castelnuovo
Magro -- the tasting menu of typical local specialties.
We were so hungry that I neglected to photograph the
antipasto of lardo di Colonnata on chestnut bread,
fritelle di baccalà, spinach and onion tortas, and
crepe with mushrooms. Here is the first of two pasta
courses: lasagnette with funghi. |
