What we thought:
From the book's cover,
and its position on the best-seller lists, we expected a more entertaining
reading experience. The book
scored mostly 2's and 3's, with just one 4. It might have made a good magazine
article, and some of us admitted to picking up a few useful pointers
or interesting bits of trivia. But we generally agreed that there
wasn't enough substance or style
to hold our
attention,
even
for
the relatively
small number
of
pages. |
