What we thought:
Those who had seen the newly released film felt it did a good job of casting and telling the story. There was general agreement that P&P had so well stood the test of time that it deserved top marks for the brilliantly entertaining way it portrays universal characters, most of whom we could recognize today among our own friends, family, and neighbors. Most people rated it 5 stars, with just a few giving it 4 or 4.5.
