| Sat 13-Nov 2004: First day in Rome. The Piazza Barberini near our hotel, with demonstrations going on down the street. The building on the right is where Louisa May Alcott lived in Rome in 1870. Sitting on that balcony, she wrote much of the story of Little Men (sequel to Little Women). | ||
