OK, here’s the requisite Louisa May Alcott stop on the visit — the building (10 rue Gioffreddo) where Louisa lived in 1865: “paying 600 francs for 10 weeks, six rooms, all large and handsome.” We thought it was rather appropriate that Louisa (in poor health for most of her adult life) lived in a building that now houses a pharmacy and bookshop.
